My practice SJS ORTHOPAEDICS or SYDNEY JOINT SPECIALISTS aims to develop a Sydney and Regional Orthopaedic practice specialising in arthroplasty of the major joints. I’m a Sydney trained Orthopaedic Surgeon, having completed my RACS Fellowship in 2016 when I completed the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) training program. Following the AOA training I underwent Fellowships in Hip, Knee and Revision surgery and also in Reconstructive and Shoulder Surgery, together providing me with a breadth of expertise in Upper and Lower Limb subspecialties.   •  Knee arthroscopy (ACL reconstruction, patella stabilisations and meniscal repair)
  •  Shoulder arthroscopy (rotator cuff repair, stabilisations, ACJ repair and shoulder decompressions)
  •  Trauma surgery (Upper and Lower limb, soft tissue trauma such as distal biceps rupture repair)
My experience encompasses a variety of surgical approaches and techniques that include:
Anterior, Posterior and Lateral approaches for hip replacements, computer assisted surgery and the use of robotics in knee arthroplasty, patient specific implants for replacements of the shoulder joint, and the use of constrained implants in revision joint replacement surgery.
Surgery can be a daunting proposition and we aim to give you full information regarding the intended procedure and expected outcomes so you can make an informed decision. If required multiple consultations can be undertaken over a period of time before making a decision, ensuring all questions you may have regarding possible surgery are addressed. Other patients may require emergency treatment and are most often consulted through their local hospital Emergency Dept. In some cases patients may be transferred to a private hospital facility for their emergency surgery and post-operative care.
